To reduce post harvest losses due to poor road transportation, inadequate market and infrastructural facilities in remote areas of the state.
To generate employment for semi skilled/ skilled/educated youths of the state.
To enhance State economy through export of processed food products.
To create market place and enhance economy of fruit growers of the state
To encourage the growers for extended plantation of fruits & vegetables and help to maintain natural ecology as a result.
