For restoration, regeneration and maintenance of soil health through adaptation of modern climate change mitigation strategy to ensure sustainable farming.
For adoption of Conserved Horticulture (CH) farming for local agro-climate and environment security.
To maximise farm income avenues through crop diversification and integration of horticulture, agriculture, animal husbandry, fishery, apiculture etc.
For improving livelihood, generate employment through development of Model Horticulture Centre.
To cause optimum efficiency from proper resource management in modern farming/ generate sustained income
Introduction and adoption of new crop, varieties, methods, system including cropping pattern and diversified activities
Proper development of watershed area with improved livelihood and nutritional status
Regularise and ensure markets of produces through production of market driven horticulture produces
Main component of project are-
Land development (terraces, contour bunding)
Infrastructures- Labour shed cum ware house, naturally ventilated green house, water harvesting pond, compost pit, Steel frame water tank, solar micro cold storage, solar tunnel dryer, micro irrigation sytem, bee box, solar powered water pump, power tiller etc.
