Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India to ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure where every Indian is digitally empowered and every information is digitally available. Digitize India Platform offers an opportunity for government agencies to transform themselves into digital enterprises. In order to increase the internet connectivity in Manipur, DIT, Government of Manipur proposes to provide free public Wi-Fi connectivity at 5 (five) important public places at Imphal as a pilot project, details of which are as under:
Old Secretariat, New Secretariat, JNIMS OPD, Poana Bazar and Thangal Bazar.
